On the way to Meijer’s today, I stopped by Goodwill so I could drop off some old clothes. Krystal and I went inside to browse their wares. Inside, I discovered some Awesome: a table of old audio cassettes. As the car I drive has a tape deck, I decided I needed some vintage tunes. What did I get? Here’s the rundown:

• UB40. The album with “Fools Rush In.”
• The soundtrack to Footloose.
• The 2nd volume soundtrack to Dirty Dancing (called “More Dirty Dancing”)
• Bruce Springsteen, “Born in the USA”
• The soundtrack to “Stand By Me,” the movie adaptation of Stephen King’s “The Body.”
• The best of Pat Benetar.

I’ve got a shitty little car, and now I can have rocking cassette tunes to be all hXc about it. LONG LIVE FORD TEMPOS!
